About Zimbabweans in Rwanda

Who We Are

Zimbabweans in Rwanda (ZiR) is the official community organisation for Zimbabwean nationals living, working, studying, and conducting business in Rwanda. We serve as a bridge between our members and the resources, opportunities, and support networks they need to thrive.

ZiR was founded on the belief that a connected diaspora is a stronger diaspora. Whether you arrived yesterday or have called Rwanda home for years, ZiR is your community.

What We Do

• Community Building — We facilitate connections across the Zimbabwean diaspora in all five provinces of Rwanda.
• Welfare Support — We provide a safety net for members facing medical, legal, housing, or emergency challenges.
• Immigration Guidance — We help members navigate Rwanda's immigration system with resources, documentation support, and peer advice.
• Professional Networking — Through our associations, we connect professionals across sectors from education to business.
• Cultural Preservation — We celebrate Zimbabwean culture, heritage, and identity through events, arts, and community gatherings.
